(KRQE) Josh Skarsgard has always appreciated the game of basketball, from his days as a member of the Albuquerque Academy Chargers to college ball at UC Santa Barbara. What Skarsgard always noticed in his home state was a lack of indoor courts, not just for basketball, but for other sports as well.
“Albuquerque has an absolute lack of indoor basketball facilities, in volleyball, in soccer,” said Skarsgard. “Number one, this facility will give kids that don’t have access to sports, better access to sports. Number two, we have talented student-athletes that don’t have access to these regional tournaments, these coaches.”
